What could be wrong with my car? Anyone had this happen?

Check the rear brake electrical connector. They come off often.

This fixed my issue. A zip tie did the job.

I’m not sure what the issue is, but getting it scanned might be the first step.

My 2023 had the same issue. The code turned out to be ‘Air Grill Intake Valve Stuck Open,’ probably some debris. It cleared up on its own in a day. Getting it scanned would be a good idea.

Had the same issue with my 2020. The code was for the TCV valve, which was covered by our extended warranty. If not, it would have cost about $1k. Could also be something like an ABS sensor.

Did your battery die? If so, the lights should clear once everything comes back online.

This happened to me when the thermo control valve went. It’s a known issue, and I got it covered under a new extended warranty. The gas cap trick worked for a while, but the lights came back on. Keep an eye on it, especially if the car starts overheating.

@Asa
Thanks! I’ll keep an eye on it.

You should head to an auto parts store and get the codes read. No one can really tell you much without that.

Get it scanned at AutoZone. They’ll be able to tell you exactly what’s wrong.

I had this issue, but it wasn’t anything major.
