I’m not sure if the weight gain is worth it, does it really improve like 1 mpg over the non-hybrid version? Am I missing something

My dealer has three of these and only two have the soft close doors.

I just got a very cheap e-tron (that has massaging seats and soft close doors) and now I want that option! It makes this LX not as appealing since the German car has cool features like lighted seat belts and fragrance systems and air purifiers.

I see why people choose the German cars at this price point…

I’m even thinking about ordering the AliExpress soft close door kit for my LX570.

So does it have it?

And if yes, can kids mess it up by trying to open it again right after closing the door? I yelled at my poor kid when she softly closed the door and then tried to open it again and I got a scary “CENTRAL LOCKING FAILURE” message on the dashboard. I felt bad and apologized to her!

Oh, and I think my e-tron has a feature that tells me when stop lights are going to turn green and what speed I should drive to make the light. Does the Lexus have something like this

The Monroney shows ‘Auto door closer’, so I think it does have it. I’ll test it out tomorrow. I didn’t see that stop light feature while driving today, but it had Road Sign Assist. Just nothing related to stop lights. I’ll update you about the doors!
