I really dislike the current US Crown design. It always makes me think it has a baboon’s backside with that two-tone paint.

I agree, they should ditch it and bring back the sport and the sedan.
@Teal
Given how crazy everyone is for crossovers, it seems obvious that the Sport would be a hit. It would be awesome if they made it GA-L/RWD though.

What do you mean baboons?!

Look up Red-butt baboons and tell me it doesn’t remind you of the Crown with that two-tone.
@Shaye
You have to see the car with the two-tone. It’s way worse.
@Kemper
I totally agree, I’m just laughing at your word choice haha.

It was like the Honda Crosstour all over again. Just plain ugly.

I actually find the Crown SUV (I can’t remember the name) really attractive.
@Lucy
The SUV looks much better than the lifted sedan version.
It’s hard to imagine it being on the GA-L platform since the ES has always been FWD.
That said, wouldn’t that be cool

A GS comeback in disguise

Absolutely. A GA-L ES500h with the LCh/LSh drivetrain would make an amazing GS450h successor. We can only dream
We also need the Crown Sport
It really needs to be on the GA-K platform or Lexus might lose my loyalty. I am really surprised that they didn’t bring the Crown sedan to Western markets. I’m hoping it’s because the Lexus is going to share the same platform.
Keep the current model but bring back the GS on the GA-L like the Crown sedan, throw in the 2UR and the 10L65 10-speed, and I’d buy one tomorrow.
