Here’s a picture of the car I’m looking at. What are your thoughts?
I bought a 2012 V6 new and still have it. It’s fast and reliable with no issues. For the $15.5k price, I’d try to negotiate it down a bit.

How many miles are on yours? I tried to lower the price, but prices around here are higher than this one. The list price is $13.2k, but with taxes and fees, it goes up to $15.5k.
@Zenith
Mine has 68k miles. It’s the best car I’ve ever owned, and it’s the base model. The one you’re looking at seems like a sport or limited model, which might justify the price.

Sounds like you got the perfect car and kept the mileage low. This one is a limited model, so the price might make sense, but $15.5k still feels a bit high.
@Zenith
It’s a car you can keep for 20 years easily.

You got a 2012 new and only have 68k miles? I got a 2022 new and already have 62k!
@Rio
My commute was only 20 miles round trip, 4 days a week.
For reference, I have a 2007 V6 Rav4 I bought for $5,000 a few years ago. It has 260,000 miles and starts perfectly every time.

That’s great to hear. I want to use this car for road trips and don’t want to get stranded. It’s hard to justify buying a car with almost 100,000 miles, but hearing yours is still running strong at 260,000 miles makes me feel better. Thanks!
Teat drive? Lol

Might be better than a test drive, depending on who you ask.
This was the last year they made the V6. Highly recommend it. I’ve had this exact car since 2013 and only had to do oil changes, tires, and brakes. It’s incredibly reliable, and the true 4x4 is a big plus.
@Brady
After driving it, I really want the V6. For what I need, the 2010-2012 models seem perfect. How many miles are on yours?

Over 150,000. I never want to get rid of this car, haha.
I got mine with 98k miles for $12,500. It’s been a beast, and I even tow with it.
More reliable than the 4-cylinder in the long run. It’s powerful, has great cargo space, and a tight turning circle.

I also love how adjustable the back seats are and the hidden cargo box for storage.
Former V6 Rav owner here. I miss that car.
Go for it!
