I’ve always wondered what RAV in RAV4 stands for … does anyone here know the real meaning or is it just a cool name

Actually, the third gen had front-wheel drive options … that was over 15 years ago

My first one was Comet … it was silver. My current one is Pigeon … also silver but with a cool pigeon sticker

RAV4 means Recreational Activity Vehicle 4-wheel drive … and the trims are LE for Luxury Edition, XLE for Executive Luxury Edition, XSE for Executive Sport Edition, and SR5 for Sport Rally 5-speed
