If your idea of ‘sport’ is racing, then no, roof rails aren’t sporty. If your sport is something like kayaking or skiing, then they definitely are.

You’re mostly paying for the looks. Mechanically, it’s the same as the other trims.
It’s just an appearance package.
It has different suspension tuning with Stablex dampers, 19-inch wheels, and the Sport# mode. Not sure if it actually makes a difference, though.

Nothing really. They haven’t made a truly sporty Forester since the STI days.
It supposedly has sportier suspension tuning, but I couldn’t really tell the difference between the Sport and Touring trims.
The Forester Sport actually has different shocks compared to other trims.
Just the word ‘sport’… that’s it.
