What’s everyone paying for an oil change these days?

Groupon is still a thing?

Apparently! This is the only thing I ever use it for. :joy:

Which Highlander do you have? $130 seems high.

Gotcha, thanks!

$85 plus tax for mine, but surprisingly, the dealer has the best deal—$44 for a full synthetic oil change and filter.

$106 at the dealer in Chicagoland for my 2016.

$115… but it comes with a “free” car wash. :person_shrugging:

I’ve got a Highlander too, and I pay about $110 at Freeze Monkey.

$85 at Walmart.

$300 for six dealership service appointments—oil changes, tire rotation, full checkup, and topping off fluids.

They have a quiet waiting room, so I can work while they do it. Worth it for me.

My Toyota dealer has weekday happy hour synthetic oil changes for $49.95.

Highlander makes DIY oil changes easy—no need to lift the car. I do mine in 30 minutes.

Costco Kirkland 5W-20 synthetic and an OEM filter costs me about $50 per car. Drop off the old oil at AutoZone for free.

Castrol full synthetic from Walmart, Amazon, or Home Depot—$25/gal + $6 filter. 10-15 minutes, all done.

$38 for 10 quarts of synthetic at Costco, plus $30 to have my local shop do the change (filter included). Hard to beat that price.

I could do it myself, but my time is worth more.

$119 with tax at the dealership.
