Here’s a pic of what I’ve found leaking. What could this be? It’s dried up and looks like red gunk.
Coolant is the correct answer. Trans fluid never gets crusty when exposed to air.
Coolant. Toyota coolant is pink

Ahh so might need a new radiator

Most likely water pump

Is that a common problem?
@Zaren
Unfortunately, yes, it’s a common problem across a lot of Toyotas, not just Tundras.
That is your water pump. Fairly common problem on the 5.7. So is the valley plate leak, but that would be the same dried pink coolant on the rear/bottom of the engine/transmission (it runs down from the top where the valley plate is)
Water pump
Coolant for sure with the location of it
Coolant crust, dripping down from somewhere on the front of the engine behind the radiator. The most likely answer is the water pump.
Time to replace the water pump.
Idk what you’re leaking but that looks like exfoliating corrosion
I just had to replace alternator and water pump on my 2012 Tundra. I wish they made the alternator easier to change so I didn’t have to pay them 1k for both
Questions: What year and how many miles?
Looks like it might be either ATF or coolant. I think the ATF is red.
