That non-functional exhaust tip… might spray some black paint in there just for fun. Other than that, it’s pretty much what I expected. I’ve seen others complain about the stereo, MPG, paint, bumper tabs, and even hood struts. What’s bothering you about the new model?
On my XLE with Premium Plus, some safety features look like you can disable them in settings, but they turn back on when you restart the car. Front Cross Traffic Alert, for example, is more of a nuisance than anything.
@Spencer
You can use Techstream or another scanner to disable them permanently. But you might end up with an amber warning light on startup.
Lack of hood struts is inexcusable for a steel hood that’s this heavy.

It doesn’t bother me. I see it as a weight and cost savings measure. But I get why some people don’t like it.
@CorollaChris4
Some of us older folks would definitely appreciate hood struts, lol.
Why did Toyota switch back to a steel hood instead of aluminum like the previous gen?

Probably cost-cutting. You’d think they could have done aluminum with a prop bar for the same price or less.
Not gonna lie… my ‘25 Camry has been a headache. I’m at 15k miles, already replaced a front left wheel bearing, and the interior rattles like crazy. Would I buy this car again? No way.

Did they give you any reason for the wheel bearing failure? Toyota usually uses decent bearings unless it was installed wrong.
When I cycle through audio sources using the Mode button, it gets stuck on Amazon Music and Apple Music. Can I delete those? Also, my rear defrost doesn’t clear the top six lines… not sure if it’s a defect or intentional.
@Jori
If you have Amazon Music and Apple Music on your phone, try blocking them from using Bluetooth/CarPlay. As for the defrost, have the dealer check it out. I had an old car where they fixed it with conductive paint under warranty.

Those top lines aren’t defroster grids… they’re the radio antenna.

Is that a joke?
