Looking for a good place to buy tires. The dealership wants $850 for 2 tires and a 4-wheel alignment, seems high to me. I drive a 2023 Camry XSE with 235/40r19 tires. Any recommendations?
Discount Tire is a solid choice.
I’ve been using Discount Tire for a while, never had any problems. Their prices are fair, they work fast, and they don’t try to sell me things I don’t need.
Tire prices depend on the brand and size. Dealers usually charge more, but sometimes they have deals like buy 3, get 1 for a dollar. Worth checking, but not always the cheapest.

You can find cheaper tires if you go for brands from Cambodia or Vietnam. The dealership discounts look good, but you’re paying extra for labor and install costs.

Tires and brakes are the most important parts of a car. It’s not worth saving a few bucks on tires that might not meet safety standards. You can get good tires outside the dealer without overpaying.
We paid $1000 at Costco for Michelin CC2s on a 2019 Lexus RXh, size 235/55R20. That price seems normal for a top brand. You can go cheaper with lesser-known brands like Sailun, WestLake, or LingLong, but they don’t last as long, and wet road performance won’t be as good.
