This V6 version without the spare wheel on the back is kinda rare, right?

Yeah, the sport models didn’t have the spare on the back. I think they only came with the V6, so they’re a bit uncommon.
@Del
You’d think a sport model would have the spare on the back for off-roading or something.

Tire on the back = tough and rugged. No tire on the back = normal everyday SUV. Lol.

I was wondering why mine didn’t have it. The spare’s just chilling in the trunk.

I think the Canadian models didn’t have the spare on the back. Japanese and American ones did. Not 100% sure though. Checking the VIN might help.
2009 and only 100k miles? That’s impressive.
How fast does this thing do 0-60?

The V6 does it in about 6.3 seconds. It was Toyota’s fastest car between 2006 and 2013.

Only for 0-60. The Camry was faster after that because it didn’t have AWD. The RAV4’s 5-speed isn’t great for anything except launching from a stop.
@Noel
There’s not much difference overall. RAV4 does the quarter mile in 14.8 seconds at 99 mph, while the Camry does it in 14.6 seconds at 97 mph. But honestly, above 75 mph, the RAV4 feels pretty floaty, so I’m glad it’s not faster.
@Chance
Makes sense. The RAV4 isn’t as aerodynamic as the Camry, plus the 5-speed transmission doesn’t help. I’ve seen quarter-mile times of 14.9 seconds at 92.9 mph for the RAV4 and 14.6 seconds at 97 mph for the Camry.
Have you tried taking it off-road? I’m curious how it handles rough terrain.

Yeah, I’ve taken it out a bit. Nothing extreme, but it does fine on forest roads and on my family’s farm. It works, but the ground clearance isn’t huge. Overall, it’s solid though.
The second picture looks amazing. It really highlights the mix of the rims and the rugged underbody with the sporty design.
Congrats on hitting that milestone! Here’s to many more miles ahead.
100k? Those are rookie numbers!
Congrats! You’re just getting started. My wife’s 2011 V6 Limited has 116k, and it still feels as good as new. We were originally going for the Sport model with the V6, but the run-flat tires changed our mind. We went for the Limited instead, and we’re happy we did.
I had a 1998 RAV4 with the spare on the back. Yours looks super clean though!
