Prius is lighter, so it’s better on fuel. Camry has more room and less road noise. Both are reliable if you keep up with the maintenance.

Prius is great for city driving. Camry is better if you need more space and do more highway driving.

Camry all the way unless you need a hatchback or plug-in hybrid.

I went with the Prius mainly because of its size. Parking spots where I live are getting smaller, and it’s hard to open Camry doors between SUVs. But I’d pick a Camry if it were easier to get—waiting months and paying a markup for a Prius isn’t fun.

If you’ve got kids, go with the Camry.
