2021 Tundra 1794 with 120k miles, is $38k asking too much?

For this trim and color, $38k doesn’t seem like a good deal. I’d expect less than 100k miles at that price.

What would you say is a fair price for this?

I’d say about $35k at most. It’s a tough call though. It’s a great looking truck, but with over 100k miles, you never really know what you’re getting into. Check KBB, ask your lender for their valuation, and compare with local listings. But yeah, 120k miles on a 2021 is a lot, and that ‘as-is’ sticker is a red flag.

Good point about the ‘as-is’ sticker… I totally missed that.

Yeah, looks like they’re banking on the curb appeal to sell this truck. Gotta admit, it’s tempting. They know how to price it to catch your eye.

It’s a pass for me at that mileage.

I might consider it at 75k miles, but not 120k.

I’d top out around $35k. Try negotiating the price down.

Definitely too much.

Hard pass… keep looking.

Used car prices are just ridiculous right now.

No kidding… these prices are a joke.

I went for a new truck for this reason. Prices are crazy, but financing rates on new vehicles are usually much better. I ended up financing a new Tundra at 1.99%, which was way better than the 9% I was seeing for used trucks. I actually came out ahead by financing new and investing the cash I had set aside.

I just paid $42k for a 2021 1794 with 78k miles…

What did a new one cost back then?

No way I’d pay over $40k for a truck with 120k miles.

That color combo is perfect. Nice truck, but yeah… a bit pricey.

Hell no. My local dealer has a 2020 Tundra 1794 with 68k miles for $42k and it’s super clean. Way better deal. Plus, looks like this one has been off-roading a lot… I’d stick with something stock and well cared for.

High miles and sold ‘as-is’… I’d steer clear.

Way too much. I’d expect it to have way fewer miles at that price.

This is nuts, don’t do it.

Tacoma and Tundra prices are wild even with high mileage.

Been shopping Tundras myself… 50-70k miles feels like the sweet spot for used. Not too beat up, still plenty of life left.
