I got a new 4Runner and want to share my thoughts on the SR5 with third row seats. I include some pictures and share my gas mileage numbers.
This truck feels well made with no rattling, squeaking or creaking. People have been saying the same and I see it too. Being made in Japan is a plus.
What did you pay overall including taxes? Did you look at any other versions?
I bought mine at a fair price and looked at other trims before deciding on this one.

I have not driven the 4R myself but I heard it may run a bit different than the J250 Land Cruiser. Using only the electric motor in town is not really an option because it is not like a Prius or another car that saves fuel. The electric part only helps a bit when starting, while the gas engine kicks in right away even at low speeds.
So it looks like this setup can help with gas use for many but if saving gas is your main goal, this truck might not be the best choice.
I appreciate the review and the pictures. Congratulations on your new ride.
I thought the 5th gen SR5 had signals on the side mirrors. Did they take them off in the 6th gen?

I have been checking discussions on this forum and it looks like the basic SR5 does not come with side mirror signals. It seems they left out a premium option so you have to choose a higher model.
It is a shame that local Toyota dealers are still overcharging. Mine cost an extra 6000 dollars even before the car was on the lot.
I did not expect that message like a secret code saying Accessory Ready.
It is disappointing that there are no heated seats. Is there really no option to get heated seats in a 4Runner under 50000 dollars? I appreciate your review and photos.
