2025 Camry recall, should I be worried?

Just checked my 2025 Camry SE, and it’s on the recall list for a second-row center seatbelt that might have been damaged during manufacturing. Here’s the link:

I doubt people will be rushing to the dealership for this one.

Yeah, I’m not in a hurry either. Had the car for three months and haven’t even used that seat yet, but I’ll get it fixed at some point.

@Nuri
Same here. I don’t think anyone will ever sit in my back seat anyway. But good call on posting this—someone might actually need to know.

Figures. First model year of a new generation, and there’s already a recall. Meanwhile, my 2024 (last year of the 8th gen) has no recalls—at least, not that I know of.

At least this isn’t a major issue unless you’ve got five people in the car and end up in a crash.

I love my 2024!

Same here! Super smooth and quiet ride. The hybrid was a great choice—I’m getting about 47 MPG in warmer weather. Mine’s a 2024 SE Hybrid Nightshade in midnight black. What’s yours?

@Kimberly
Got a 2024 XLE AWD in Predawn Mica when they were clearing them out in May. It’s a great daily driver and super comfortable on long trips.

@Kimberly
So does that mean it’s smarter to wait until late 2025 or early 2026 to buy a Camry?

@Kimberly
Shoutout to the 2024 crew!
