We’re looking at the 2025 Sienna Limited and Platinum models and trying to decide which would be best for our family. We’ve got two kids and do a lot of carpooling. We’re leaning toward the Limited, but we really like some of the Platinum features, like the heated steering wheel and 360 camera.
The fridge/vacuum combo is honestly a deal breaker for my wife. It seems like it could be an issue for us and the kids climbing in and out. Anyone else go with the Limited and add extra features to get it closer to the Platinum? What would we be missing by not going with the Platinum?
I have the 2025 Platinum and honestly, the fridge/vacuum doesn’t take up as much space as people make it seem. The 360 camera is great, though. Once you have it, it’s hard to go without it!

Funny you mention that—I had a 4Runner Limited with a 360 camera, and now I have a Sienna XLE without it. The turning radius on the Sienna is good enough that I don’t miss the camera much. Also, Toyota’s camera quality could be better. Real leather on the Platinum seats is a nice touch, though!

I think the camera quality got an upgrade on the 2025 models—it’s closer to what you’d find on the Lexus RX now.
I think you’re right, all screens got an upgrade in the 2025 Sienna. Plus, Platinum has a heads-up display, right? We love having the 360 camera and HUD in our RAV4, so those are must-haves for our next Sienna.

How’s it been with your kids using the van around the fridge?
@Dorian
My kid is still in a car seat. When someone in the third row needs to get out, the second-row seat slides back to give them space. It’s not too different from how we’d do it without the fridge.
@Clay
Is your kid in the second or third row? We’ll have two rear-facing car seats in the second row, so I’m wondering if a third kid could still get to the back row.

Ours is in the second row. You can slide one of the seats back to make room for your older child to get through.
@Dorian
Just got my 2025 Platinum yesterday. I have kids in booster seats, and it could be a hassle for grandparents in the third row with the fridge taking up some space. But if it’s just the kids, it’s manageable.

Did you get the all-weather floor mats? Curious if they cover the sliding door area and how much they were.
I skipped the 2024 because of the brown interior, and now the fridge/vacuum on the 2025 is making me hesitate. I just wish they’d offer the 360 camera on the Limited!

I didn’t like the brown interior either… but honestly, it grew on me after about 10 minutes of owning the car!

Totally agree. 2024 was ‘caca brown’ and 2025 is a ‘black cave’ with the fridge in the way. Kind of wish I’d just gone for the 2024.
Toyota’s lineup is weird. The $20k Corolla has more customization options than a $60k Sienna!

There’s an add-on for parking assist with a 360 camera for around $500.
