2025 Sienna Limited or Platinum? Which One’s Better for a Family?

Totally agree. I just wish it had wireless Apple CarPlay.

I got a $40 dongle for that. Works great, though I still plug in on long trips to charge.

I have a 2022 Platinum, and we’re a family of four. I’d love the fridge if we had it since we don’t use the space for much. My dad’s 2025 has it, and it doesn’t take up too much room in his case.

I really wish the fridge/vacuum was an option on the Platinum, not standard.

Agreed. It’s too much hassle with kids constantly getting in and out.

Couldn’t agree more.

I got the 2025 Limited and love it! I don’t care for the fridge/vacuum or the 360 camera much, but the 2025 updates make it feel much more modern than the 2024.

Did you get any additional upgrades?

@Dorian
Our Limited has the digital dash, wireless CarPlay, and the 12.3" screen. Also came with extras like mudguards and crossbars.

Leaning toward the Limited too. Heated steering wheel is important to me, but it’s my wife’s car, and she doesn’t care as much. Just not sure what I’m missing by not going with the Platinum.

@Dorian
Platinum adds 20" wheels, heads-up display, heated second row, vacuum/fridge, and some other tech upgrades. But there’s a $6k difference.

Limited also has heated second row; Platinum adds ventilated/cooled second row.

@Dorian
Frustrating to pay $6k more just for a heated steering wheel!

Wish they’d offer it as an option on the Limited.

When people say ‘interior upgrades,’ it’s mostly the color and screen size that changed. I went with a 2024 because I didn’t like the black-only option on the 2025.

@Rudy
You can sometimes get a nice discount on a 2024 if you’re okay with that model.

Got mine for $2k under MSRP by acting interested in waiting for a 2025. Salesperson said it was the first time they’d dropped the price on a Sienna in years!

Went with the Limited for similar reasons. We didn’t want the fridge/vacuum and still got acoustic glass and real leather in the Limited. But yes, SofTex in the third row across all trims.

Here’s what you’re missing by choosing Limited over Platinum: 360 cam, heated steering wheel, fridge/vacuum, plus a few extras like ventilated 2nd row, auto wipers, heads-up display, and a headlight upgrade.

Personally, I think Limited is the sweet spot for 2025. No bulky fridge, and the Limited’s price increase was just $255 compared to the Platinum’s $3k hike. I felt those extra features weren’t worth the extra cost.

Limited still has the new infotainment and other interior refreshes for 2025.

@Jori
Great breakdown, thanks! Limited sounds like the best choice for us.

Platinum.
