2026 Subaru Outback spotted in Orange County. Is it really an Outback?

If they’re really changing the Outback’s style, that sucks. It’s one of the last wagons left, and people love it because of that.

Hard to tell how high it sits in these pics. Looks taller, but also kind of thinner? Could just be the wrap playing tricks.

I really hope they don’t mess with the formula too much. Change is inevitable, but this looks extreme.

Too tall, too boxy.

Yeah, the height is what bothers me. The length is fine.

If you didn’t tell me this was a Subaru, I’d think it was a Chevy Tahoe.

I work at a Subaru retailer, this is 100% the 2026 Outback.

What are they thinking? The current Outback is just fine.

At least they didn’t make it a weird coupe-SUV thing.

Objects in mirror are uglier than they appear.

If this is the Outback, the Ascent is going to be a full-size SUV.

It’s about the same size as the current Outback, just boxier.

I bet the radio is already glitching.

What’s up with that grille?

They sometimes add fake design elements to throw people off. Might not be final.

I really hope that’s not an Outback.
