They’re the same exact price. Anyone have thoughts on why you’d choose one over the other?
Land Cruiser:
- More head room
- Full-time 4WD (vs. part-time 4WD)
- Leather seating
- Sleek multimedia screen is integrated into the dash (vs. giant iPad glued on top)
- Heritage Blue body paint
4Runner
- 9.2" ground clearance (1" more than Land Cruiser)
- More durable SofTex seats you don’t mind getting dirty
- All-terrain tires come standard
- Power rear window
- Removable bluetooth speaker
- Mudbath body paint
@Darian
4Runner also has hidden rear wiper.
One question. Why does most documentation have the 4Runner hybrid model as regular 87 octane fuel. While the Land Cruiser is premium 91 octane fuel in the owners manual… are they not the same relative set up?
Looks honestly, LC looks way better
Land Cruiser, no question
If I’m paying over $70k after taxes, I’d rather get the gx overtrail for a few dollars more.

When I built a gx last year it was 74k. What are they now?
@Leslie
2025 overtrail went up by more than $3000

I was thinking the same thing too. At this point they’re all within a few thousand of each other.
