It’s not a V8 like the older models, and yeah, it’s a bit pricey, but the more I drive it, the more I enjoy it. Definitely happy with the decision!
I really want one of these!

Another vehicle I can’t afford. Remember when $20k got you a nice car? Not that long ago!

My Land Cruiser cost $27k in 1991. They’ve always been pricey.

True, but if you compare $27k back then to today’s prices, it seems like a deal. Is it still running?
@Sayer
Yep, still running. But with inflation, that $27k is over $50k in today’s money—base model. Options added more.

Actually, inflation puts it closer to $62.5k today, which is about mid-spec for a new LC.

You can still get a Camry for under $30k. Land Cruisers have always been on the high end.

There are still $20k cars out there. What exactly are you comparing this to?

$20k back then is like $100k now, Grandpa.

It’s really just a bigger RAV4. Same basic hybrid system but worse MPG. You’re better off with a RAV4 for efficiency unless you need the extra size and capability.
@IvankaMoore
Lol, I’m still driving my 2008 Solara with only 108k miles. No rush to upgrade!

That’s impressive. If you ever switch, a hybrid like the RAV4 would save you a lot on gas in the long run.
How’s it off-road?

Judging by the tires, I’m guessing it hasn’t seen any trails yet.

Lol, you’re right. I haven’t had a chance to take it off-road yet, but I’m looking forward to it.

These are amazing off-road!
Looks fantastic!
I’ve been driving a 2016 Prado this year. Honestly, I’m bored of it.
