After a decade of using a mismatched canopy, I finally got one that fits perfectly and matches the truck’s color. It’s a Leer 180, and I think it really ties the look together. Excited to put it to good use!
Looks great. I’ve always wanted a cap like this, but I can’t bring myself to spend that much.
Which canopy is this?

I’ve had a Leer 180 for a few years now. Solid choice—it looks great!
How much did it set you back?

Wow, that’s steep! Was it new or used? I got mine for $850 a few years back, though it’s about 15 years old. Still in good shape though, it’s an A.R.E.

It’s brand new. I tried to find a used one, but they’re usually around $1,000, and none of them fit my truck.

Fair enough! A high-top cap that fits and matches the truck really does make a difference. Great investment.
Looks like it’s going to be super useful. Are you planning to leave it on all the time?

Yeah, it’ll stay on. If I need to move something that won’t fit, I’ll just rent a trailer.
@Wendell
That makes sense. I love the way trucks look without toppers, but the practicality of having one is unbeatable. I went with a Softopper for flexibility. Leer is a solid choice though.
That looks great—perfect color match and nice roofline.
I just ordered a Softopper for mine! I couldn’t swing the cost of a hard one, especially a paint-matched one.

I used to have a Softopper on this truck. They’re great for the price, but just make sure to fold it down in high winds. Mine got shredded on the freeway during a windy day.
Looks sharp! Toppers are super handy.
No way that truck ever broke down!
Great-looking truck! I got a Leer 122 for my 3rd-gen access cab. I use it a lot, but dealing with Leer was a nightmare. Their customer service is awful—it took over a year to fix simple build-quality issues.
