Annoying Beeping Won't Stop When I'm Driving My 2024 Camry Hybrid, Help?

Just got this Camry Hybrid as a loaner, and it keeps beeping when I’m driving, especially while accelerating. There are no warning lights on, and I can’t figure out how to turn it off. It’s driving me nuts! Any ideas?

Here’s a video of the beeping sound:

I’ve been around Camrys for years and I’ve never heard a sound like that. You should definitely take it back to the dealer and have them check it out.

Does the beeping sort of flicker or break its pattern sometimes? It could be some kind of software glitch causing it to go off at random.

Quick question: are you and your passengers wearing seatbelts? It sounds a bit like a proximity alarm, maybe something inside the car is triggering a sensor. Could be a bag, coat, or something else dangling near a sensor.

Sounds like a faulty sensor to me. If you can, try using an OBD-II scanner to see if any specific events or error codes are being triggered. That might give you a clue.

This doesn’t sound like any of the factory-installed beeps or alerts. My guess is that there could be an aftermarket gadget installed, maybe a tracker or security system, and it’s acting up.

It could be a radar detector or some kind of dealer-installed alarm system. You might want to check if there’s anything like that in the car.
