Picked up this beauty yesterday. It’s a 2021 XLE with 25k miles, one previous owner, and it was a lease return that’s been really well taken care of. Got it for $29.5k in Northern California. It’s got the JBL audio system, built-in navigation, and the larger infotainment screen. The blueprint color is stunning—it can look almost black, deep blue, or even slightly purple depending on the light.
I love it so much. Took it through the redwoods today, and it drove like a dream. Super comfy, and it feels really high-end. I didn’t expect it to be this nice! I test-drove it once and just knew it was the right fit. I was considering RAV4s and CR-V hybrids, but they weren’t as quiet or as nice inside, and they were more expensive. This car is my early graduation and Christmas gift from my husband—he’s taken over my old Civic, so we’re both happy!
Still figuring out all the features since there’s a lot to explore. Now, I just need to come up with a good name for her.
Congrats! We bought ours in red last month and feel the same way. We started looking at the RAV4 but stumbled on the Venza and couldn’t resist. The upgraded stereo, heated seats, and steering wheel make it feel so premium. Honestly, I don’t get why this car didn’t sell better—it’s fantastic.

Thanks! I feel like Toyota really didn’t market this one at all. I don’t remember seeing any ads or hearing anyone talk about it. It’s definitely underrated, but I’m so glad I found it. Congrats on yours too .
@Marriot
Yeah, I heard they were aiming this at an older crowd, but it’s honestly the best car I’ve ever owned. My top five so far are:
Toyota Venza
Mitsubishi Endeavor (RIP)
Subaru Legacy
Honda CR-V
Pontiac Grand Am (RIP)
The nice thing about owning a less common car is you don’t see a ton of them everywhere. I’ve only seen one other Venza since buying mine. Hopefully, since they still make them in Japan, parts won’t be hard to find.

Congrats on the find! How lucky to score this deal. For a name, what about True, as in True Blue?
Thanks! I think I got really lucky. The dealer had dropped the price by over $3k recently, and I still managed to negotiate another $500 off. It’s a shame more people didn’t go for the Venza because it’s such a great car.
