I’m in Canada, Alberta to be exact. Can’t take her out from November to April. The roads are just covered in salt, ice, and rocks during those months.

That sounds rough…
I keep my MKIV off the roads here on Vancouver Island in BC. Can’t drive it from November to March because of the salt.

Feels so similar to my situation. It’s painful to wait.

Same here. I park my MK3 from October to April on the island.
@GearHeadPro
We’ve got to protect that Japanese metal. No risks.
I like the handling on the MKV. It feels so much sharper compared to its predecessor. They really added more sporty features.

I haven’t tried the MKIV yet, but I’m happy with how the MKV performs.
@Magdalina
For me, the MKIV always felt more like a Japanese muscle car—big engine up front, power at the rear. It’s more of a grand tourer than a pure sports car.
My MK2 stays nice and cosy in the garage all winter.
Not happening on summer tires.
I’m in Cali. Weather’s amazing here, so I drive my MK4 year-round with semi-slicks. Winters get a bit slippery, though.

California weather is unbeatable.
My licence plate is like a snow plow in winter haha.

So true! It doubles as a speed bump protector too.
I’m in Washington State. I drive mine all year except for the rare snow days.
Why not get studded tires?

They’re illegal where I live, sadly.
I’m in Florida, and my Supra is my daily driver.
