Huh maybe the rating is low… my stock bars say 165lbs max so I never tried a roof tent

They’re not perfect but… built in mattress… stays warmer… keeps animals out which my partner likes

Downsides… can’t use roof for other stuff… hard to put on alone… hurts gas mileage a bit

Not light… maybe 150lbs… sucks putting it on especially when swapping with kayaks all summer
