I finally got a pair of Desert Does It seat risers and wow, it really made my 2nd Gen AC way more comfortable. Super simple mod and it took maybe 15 minutes to install. If you’re thinking about it, I say go for it. Made a big difference for me.
What are some other easy mods you folks would recommend?

I put a little trash can behind the seat. Better than throwing stuff on the floor.

I try not to build up trash, but it does help for receipts and random stuff like that. Not food wrappers or anything gross.

Yeah, I don’t toss tons of stuff in there either, but it just feels cleaner than tossing empty cans or bottles on the floor.

I did that too, but after a few days the smell from used condoms is rough. Now I empty it more often.

Nah, just search Amazon. They’re around ten or twenty bucks. Nothing fancy.

I swapped out the cup holders to fit bigger bottles like Nalgene and the big metal ones.

I’ve looked at that for my 3rd Gen but wasn’t sure if that store was legit. Never ordered from them.

I think they just resell stuff. I was a little unsure too. Took a bit to show up but it’s metal, fits nice, and I like it.

Any ideas for the 2nd Gen? I’m using one of those big cup insert things but it looks kind of out of place.

Try Etsy. I found a decent one on there for around 40 bucks that fits way better.
Are these seat risers mainly for tall people? I’m 5’9 and the stock seat feels fine. Am I missing something?

I’m 6 foot and only really noticed it helping on long drives, like more than 5 hours. Didn’t feel much different on short drives. Took some time to get used to it. Also, now I bump my head more often getting in.
@Heath
Gotcha. I flew out and drove my 2nd Gen over 800 miles home and didn’t feel any discomfort with the seat at all.

I’m 5’8 and added them to my 3rd Gen. Feels better to me, so not just for tall people I guess.

They help taller folks but they’re also good if you need room under the seat, like if you’re running an amp or powered sub.

I’m only 5’7 and I like the extra angle it gives. Helped my legs not go numb on longer drives.
