Thinking about getting a 2024 Camry SE or XSE. If you don’t mind sharing, how much are you paying per month for financing and insurance? I know it depends on credit and other factors, but just trying to get an idea. Thanks.
Got a 2024 XSE V6 at 5.25% with an 805 credit score. My partner wanted the peace of mind, so we added a warranty. Around $500 a month for the loan. Insurance is $400 every six months for full coverage.

$400 for full coverage? Which company are you with?

Man, I’m paying $855 for six months of full coverage on a 2013 Camry LE with a 300k liability limit. I’m 25, single, with one not-at-fault claim in 2020. I barely drive, just to work and the store. I’m with USAA but thinking about switching.
@Kiran
Appreciate the info.
Picked up a brand-new XSE. Sticker price was almost $36k, but I talked them down to $33k. Put $3k down, financing the rest at $540 a month for five years. Feels pricey for a Camry, but I’m saving a lot on gas.
@Jean
Thanks! Yeah, sounds a bit expensive, but if the car is good, it’s probably worth it.
@Jean
That’s a solid deal. Surprised you got it down to $33k. I know now is probably the best time to buy in the last couple of years with Toyota’s inventory improving. How much is your insurance?
Got a 2024 SE for $31k plus gap and warranty ($3,500). Interest rate is 5.99%, paying $540 a month. Insurance is about $150 monthly, but I’m planning to shop around next week for better rates.

My insurance quotes have been crazy high, like $800 a month since I’m under 25. The lowest I’ve seen is $350. Hoping I can find something cheaper because that’s a lot just for insurance.
@Venice
I’m with National General right now, but I heard AAA and Progressive might be cheaper, so I’ll be checking them out first.
Picked up an SE AWD for $36k out the door with gap and an extended warranty. 5.75% APR, monthly payment is $587 (only put $500 down). Insurance is $575 for six months with Progressive.

My age is definitely making insurance way more expensive. But after seeing Progressive’s quotes, I think I’ll go with them. Thanks.
Just got an XSE V6 last weekend. It was the last one my dealer had in stock. Really happy with it.
Got an XSE for just under $38k out the door. Traded in my Optima for $10k, put down another $10k in cash, then financed $18k through Toyota for 36 months at 4.75%. Monthly payment is around $530. Insurance is hitting me for $350 a month with Geico.
Your loan payment depends a lot on how much you borrow and your interest rate. Always get pre-approved with a local bank or credit union first. That way, if a dealer offers you a higher rate, you already know what you qualify for. Also, check if the dealer’s loan allows early payoff so you can refinance later if needed.
For insurance, just call your provider with a VIN from a similar car, and they’ll give you an estimate. Also, shop for insurance every few years because companies raise rates over time. I checked insurance for a 2022 Accord Sport recently, and it was $933 for six months, but rates depend on a lot of factors.

I’m 19, so my insurance quotes have been rough. But that’s good advice. My stepbrother works at the dealership, so he’s helping me find the cheapest option.
Got a SE for $30k out the door. Put $6.5k down and pay $400 a month for 72 months. Insurance is $140 a month with a $1k deductible and 100/300 coverage. I was in an accident almost four years ago, so that might still be affecting my rate.
@Drue
Thanks! I’ve been getting really high insurance quotes since I’m 19. What company are you with, and would you recommend them?

I’m with Progressive right now. I’m 25, so my rate might not compare to yours, but you’ll probably need to shop around. Full coverage is a must though.
