Good to know! Thanks for the info. I currently have USAA, but I feel like my rates are too high. I’m just casually shopping around—thinking about checking Costco Insurance too.

I just signed up with Toyota Insurance this month, and it turns out Toggle underwrites my policy. Geico wanted $80 more per month, so I decided to give Toyota Insurance a try after getting a new car.
They monitor driving habits like speed, distance, and overall behavior, and adjust rates based on that. That’s a dealbreaker for me.
I’ve had Toyota Insurance for about 1.5 years with my 2021 Corolla Hatchback XSE. They didn’t increase my rates for the first year, and this month’s renewal only went up by $9. That’s not bad, considering my previous insurer, American Family Costco, raised my rates from $150 to $200. Switching to Toyota Insurance saved me $1300 over the year.
I ended up sticking with USAA after getting my Costco quote. They offered to track my driving habits, and I could save 10–30%. It’s not a huge savings, but every bit helps!
I just signed up with Toyota Insurance today. I’m in Dallas, TX, and my policy is underwritten by Farmers Toggle. They gave me a better rate than Geico.
