Anyone looked at the 2025 Tundra 2WD SX?

Saw this 2025 Tundra 2WD SX and wanted to see what you all think about it. I’m not set on anything yet, just trying to figure out if this is a solid option or if I’m missing something. Appreciate any honest thoughts, good or bad.

Run, man. Not worth it.

You should always start with 4WD… it’s not about needing it all the time, it’s about being glad you have it when that moment hits.

I get that, but I’ve got both a truck and an SUV with 4WD already. Honestly haven’t had a moment yet where I felt lucky to have it.

@Darwin
Same here. Never really needed it either.

There are much better deals out there. Check the FB group page—people post way better prices all the time.

I knocked $9k off MSRP—$6k dealer discount and $3k Toyota cash. I didn’t go with their special financing, just paid in full. If you’re doing special financing, you should still be able to get $6k off, maybe more.

Just grabbed a ‘25 SR 4x4 with a couple dealer add-ons for $48,500 out the door.

I paid that same price for my 2024 XP edition, and mine’s 4x4.

Why would anyone spend $54k on this? You could find way better used trucks for that kind of money.

That’s exactly why I posted here. Appreciate your input.

What even is ‘New Fees and Inventory Tax’? Sounds like something you could negotiate off.

I paid that for a brand new 2024 Limited TRD Off-Road in Lunar Rock. MSRP was $63k. You can get a way better deal than that, especially for a 2WD. That price is rough.
