So I kind of convinced myself the Supra could be a family car since it has isofix in the passenger seat… Now I need to find a child seat for my 5-year-old. She’s not quite ready for a backless booster, so I need something that has isofix and is slim enough to not ruin the seat bolsters. Any suggestions?
Bride makes them. Yes, that Bride. Just became a grandpa last week and this is my plan.

Congrats on being the coolest Supra grandpa!Looked into Bride seats but seems like they don’t make them anymore. I’ve been using an Urban Kanga foldable 5-point seat, but they discontinued it since it didn’t meet the latest EU safety rules. So now I need a new, safer option.
@Kase
Thanks! Yeah, it’s a shame they stopped making them. I thought they still had stock, but I guess it’s only the baby seats left.
@Kase
Recaro just released a child seat too. Looks solid and has some great features.

Sparco makes them too, but I’m a Bride fan all the way.

So instead of a Sparco Warrior, you’re a Bridesmaid? lol
Honestly, just get a car with a proper back seat for your kid.

I already have another car with a back seat, but my daughter loves the Supra, and I’d like to be able to take her in it sometimes.

I have an NA Miata, and my son can’t ride in it at all. Been thinking of getting a Supra so he can come along.

Keep the Miata AND get the Supra! Best of both worlds.
@Kase
If you’ve got a two-seater with airbags you can disable, there’s no issue with having a kid up front.
No idea what seat works but just wanted to say you’re awesome for doing this. Your kid is going to have the best childhood memories. Ignore the haters.

Thanks! I don’t get the negative reactions honestly. The Supra has isofix and an airbag you can turn off, so it’s clearly designed for a child seat. Plus, the Z4 (which shares the same platform) got a full 5-star safety rating in EURO NCAP. I just want the safest seat that actually fits.
@Kase
Probably just teenagers who think everyone drives a Supra like they’re in a Fast & Furious movie. Some people don’t realize you can drive responsibly too.
Saw this post on another forum: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/need-help-from-parents-with-booster-seat….18759/Someone tested small footprint Diono seats, and they fit (though without an actual kid in them). Maybe check out DadCars on YouTube?
@Payne
Thanks for the link! Just ordered both a Maxi Cosi Rodifix R and Kore Pro since they seem to be slim enough. Let’s see which one works best!
