For those who’ve got the Touring trim with brown leather and suede seats… how do you keep them clean and protected? I noticed airbags pop out from the sides, so putting covers on them probably isn’t a good idea since it could mess with the airbags.
Can’t help with your question but man, those seats look amazing. Got a 2015 Touring I’ve been thinking of trading in, and this is really making me wanna do it sooner.

Now’s probably a good time. They just updated the body style. I wanted to lock in before any auto or steel tariffs hit and bump up prices.

Not throwing shade, but I’ve never really gotten why people like brown leather.
You might feel different if your last two cars had boring gray leather like my Foresters did . It’s not just the seats, there are some nice brown accents too. It’s a nice switch-up from all the gray and black.

Congrats, brown looks real sharp. Are the seats comfy? Which exterior color did you go with? How’s it been so far?
I went with pearl white. Always liked white since it’s easier to see at night. The white with brown leather and suede looks great together. This is actually my third upgrade with Subaru’s lease loyalty thing. They added more soundproofing in the 2025 Touring—it’s definitely quieter on the highway. Plus, bigger 11.9” touchscreen and a few extra features over the 2024. One neat feature is it watches if your eyes drift off the road too long and beeps at you. Seats are super comfy too. Came from a 2022 Limited before this.
