Are the waits really this long?

I just put down $500 to get on the list for a 2025 Cement Woodland, and I’ve been told the wait could be anywhere from 3 to 12 months. The dealer wouldn’t give a definite timeframe. How long should I realistically expect to wait?

It depends on the dealer’s volume. When I got my 2024 Platinum, the first dealer said 6+ months, but I found a high-volume dealer in my state, and they had it ready in 2 months.

Check out the No Markup Toyota group on Facebook. A lot of dealers are showing November and December deliveries.

I’m currently in month 19 of my ‘10-16 month’ wait for a Platinum. So, yeah, it can be long.

If you’re in the USA, try looking for a dealer with allocations. Don’t just get on a long waitlist. Go to Toyota’s website, enter your zip, and set the search radius to 500 miles.

I wouldn’t recommend waiting on a list. If you need a van soon, call around dealers within a 400-mile radius. Many may already have one on their lot, and if you find one, act fast. These don’t sit for long. The waitlist puts you at the mercy of that dealer, while others might have one ready.

If they’re telling you anywhere from 3 to 12 months, I’d start shopping around.

Wait times vary. It depends on where you are. In SoCal, places like Longo Toyota still have over a year-long wait for Siennas. Some dealerships might have shorter waits. Best bet is to call around and ask about their allocations.

I got mine in less than 2 months. Kinda wish I’d waited to get the 2025, though.

Been waiting around 4 months for a Cement Woodland. Passed on a few other trims because I’m not in a rush. If others ahead of you want the same thing, it could double your wait.

I picked up my Cement Woodland last week from Family Toyota in Burleson, Texas for $52k drive-out. If you’re set on a 2025, I’d still search around for 2024 models that are available now. Dealers have more 2024s than you might think, and they might cut deals to clear inventory.

I was told 2-3 years in Canada. It’s already been a year for me. Anyone else having better luck?

We found one listed online that wasn’t spoken for yet. It was in SoCal, and we were able to pick it up within weeks.

We waited 6 months.

There are so many variables. We got lucky and found exactly what we wanted within a few weeks. But initially, it felt like a long shot.

Talked to my dealer about a Platinum model, and they said early to mid-November.

If you’re willing to travel and are flexible with features, you won’t wait long. Sticking to local dealers might mean a longer wait.

I wrote a guide based on over 100 hours of searching, to help people navigate this. You can check it out here: https://ko-fi.com/msrpsienna

I got on the waitlist for a 2025 Platinum. Dealer couldn’t give me a timeline, so I ended up finding a 2024 that I picked up two weeks later. Just picked it up yesterday.

To be straight with you, yes, the waits are as bad as you’ve heard. It hasn’t really improved since the 2021 launch. You’ll eventually get it, but it could be as late as December 2025.
