Why associate Mexico with narcos? Just say Mexico. People are quick to throw around stereotypes without thinking about it.
It’s a fact. Mexico is known for drug trafficking, no argument there.

You clearly haven’t been outside the US if that’s all you know about Mexico.

Dude, I go to Tijuana and Rosarito all the time. You think I don’t know Mexico?

Tijuana and Rosarito are nothing. Try going deeper into Mexico, like to Monterrey or Mexico City. That’s the real Mexico. You’re barely scratching the surface if all you’ve seen is the border towns.
@Teo
Mexico has been a narco-state since way before the Escobar days. It’s just been part of its history.

You wouldn’t know what’s really going on there. All you’ve seen are headlines. Trust me, it’s a lot more complicated.
Besides regular maintenance, you’d be unlucky to have major issues with a Toyota or Lexus.

They’re built to last for sure. I mean, just look at what the Taliban drives. They aren’t using Fords, that’s for sure.
Check out the Wikipedia page on the Toyota Isis. Interesting name for a car, huh?
@Cade
‘Hi, I’m Bob from Isis Toyota! We want to be clear: we have no connection to the terrorist group!’

Depends on where you live. Some Toyota and Lexus models available in the Middle East aren’t available elsewhere.

If you’re asking Toyota/Lexus fans, you’re gonna get biased answers, but yeah, they’re super reliable. Toyota focuses on quality over flashy tech. They test everything like crazy before it goes into the cars.
@Tim
But do they have vented seats?

Lexus and Toyota are the best, hands down! I drive a bunch of them and none have ever let me down. I’ve owned over 20 of them in my lifetime.

Haha, that’s exactly what I was thinking!
Honda makes great engines but their transmissions? Not so much. Toyota does everything right. Nissan? They’re the worst.

Totally agree. Honda’s transmissions are weak. Toyota knows how to get it all working right. Nissan’s just…bad.
@Bennett
People bash Nissan a lot, and I get it. But I’d still take a Nissan over any American car. Their obsession with CVTs is sad though.

I’ve got a G37 from Infiniti that I love. Not sure if the Nissan hate applies to me, so I just stay quiet, lol.
