Best security upgrades for urban cruiser? looking for real advice

hey everyone,

i’m looking into security options for my urban cruiser after something happened to a friend recently. he was forced by two people to hand over cash from his safe, and unfortunately, he had no cameras or security system in his car to help later.

i’m especially interested in discreet dashcams that record both inside and outside the car, steering wheel locks, and silent alarms that can notify authorities without making a sound.

reliability is more important to me than cost, so if you’ve used something that actually works, i’d love to hear about it. any urban cruiser owners here who have tried these setups?

i get that, but i’m looking for tech-based solutions. where i live, other options aren’t allowed.

you could go for a dashcam setup with both front and rear recording. some models also have inside cabin recording, which could be useful.

thanks. the only issue is that obvious cameras might not be the best choice. i’d rather have something less visible.

makes sense. some models are designed to be hidden, like mirror-integrated dashcams or tiny cams mounted near the headliner.
