Can I stop this annoying message from showing up?

Move to Arizona, you won’t see that problem.

Move to Florida, same story here.

Try putting a hand warmer near the sensor, maybe that’ll help.

It’s a Toyota. If it wasn’t constantly beeping about a thousand things, it wouldn’t be doing its job.

My 2015 and 2018 Subaru Outbacks do the same thing, but the messages are much less in-your-face. The message pops up from December to April in Northern Michigan.

Maybe try putting a heater near the sensor?

Do you know where the sensor is? I’m thinking about trying this too.

I’ve asked about this before. People just seem to live with it. Someone mentioned you might be able to ask a dealership to remove the notification for you. I’m not sure if that’s true, but I’ll check when I go in for an oil change next month.

I think if you go into the settings on the dash cluster, you should be able to turn off this alert. It might be in the same place as the one reminding you to check the back seat for occupants.

I don’t mind it, and neither does my wife. I’m not sure why this bothers some people, but I guess we all need something to complain about.
