Can someone explain the purpose of this button?

Does anyone know what the button on the left does?

It might control the heated wipers and traction settings

Maybe it allows for doing burnouts and has electric wipers to prevent theft

From what I’ve seen, you need to remove a few parts to perform burnouts

You need to collect enough gold rings to boost for loops and burnouts

Probably ejects the seat for safety

Feels like we’re getting older. Many might not get this reference now.

Peter Gunn!

It heats the windshield under the wipers

The button with the car over smoke helps get unstuck.

I got stuck in mud with my Highlander. Trying to move forward worked a bit, but then lost power. Going back had the same issue.

My friend was nearby looking for things to put under the wheels when the display showed that symbol. I pressed the button and tried again. The tires started spinning instead of losing power, covered my friend in mud, but the Highlander got out easily.

@mary
Yeah, that electronic stability control isn’t very useful when you’re stuck.

The off switch disables traction control.

It’s not for mud or grass, but for when you’re stuck on ice or snow on a hard surface, allowing the tires to spin and get unstuck.

When traction control is on, it prevents the tires from spinning.

The idea is to spin the tires enough to clear ice and snow from under them.

The wiper switch might be for the rear window wiper.
