A lot of hype around it. The price is definitely inflated, but people are clearly still buying. If demand drops, prices will too, but it’s still way overpriced compared to something like the Ranger Raptor.
Yeah, looks like Ranger Raptors are going for $82-85k CAD, and I bet they’re more fun with their desert running capabilities.
How much do you think they’ll be worth in a couple years?
Got 175k on my 2004 4Runner, runs great. No car payments for the last decade. Selling it for $3k soon and getting a 2nd-gen TRD for $15-20k in cash.

Toyota’s lost their mind. I’m not buying another one at these prices, especially for what you’re getting.
For that price, you could get a GMC Canyon AT4X or a Chevy ZR2 for $60-70k and take $30k worth of time off to go adventuring. Plus, dealers might be running better deals.

Since the top trim Ram 2500 is around $105k, I’m wondering if the price of something like this makes sense, even in truck-heavy areas like Alberta where the big three are still super popular.
The Car Care Nut’s review of the ‘24 Pro made me lose all interest in getting a new Tacoma. No thanks.

That’s insane. In the US, for $100k, I’d rather buy an F250, a trailer, and an off-road vehicle. Not worth risking my daily driver.
