Just look at this gorgeous rear design. The fifth-gen Avalon has one of the most beautiful rear designs I’ve ever seen in a modern sedan.
The large model lettering that’s spaced out nicely, the way it’s placed on the rear bar, the connected taillights that flow with the rear bar, and the sleek sculpting of the whole design… It’s super classy and really unique. I haven’t seen many luxury cars with this much attention to detail.
I just wish the rear bar lit up and they gave it real dual exhaust instead of the fake quad exhaust they have. It looks really nice with the TRD exhaust.
The Avalon is going to be my next Toyota purchase after the Camry XSE. Once the Camry goes to my daughter, I’m getting myself the Avalon. It’s such a nice looking car
They really messed up the front end though. The sporty chrome slats on the front of the last gen looked a lot more competitive. It gave emphasis on the brand logo with the contrast on the hood emblem. The new Avalon grille looks a bit off and the aerodynamic vents by the fog lights make it look less appealing. Honestly, the only way to avoid it looking like a Ford Fusion is to not have a chrome grille, but luxury shouldn’t be about having black plastic. How about that TRD Avalon though?
