@Beckett
You can buy the same trim level Corolla in a low tax area in Canada like Alberta for about the same in USD since the Canadian dollar has dropped against the USD.
What packages or accessories did you get? That affects the price a lot. If you have the convenience or premium package, it’s similar to SE pricing. Toyotas are in high demand, so getting a great deal isn’t common since they know people will buy.
Not bad. An SE in 2020 was $28k out the door, but now it’s $36k. Both might be around $450-550 a month.

Are you serious? How many miles on it? My 2020 SE was $19k out the door with good options. Didn’t realize prices had gone up so much. I need to take better care of my car now!
@Brett
WHAT.
I had similar numbers ($6k down, similar credit score, 5.9% interest rate). I paid around $25k out the door in 2022 for a new '22. One quote was $33k, so you’re below that! Congrats!
Location affects the price too.

You didn’t get ripped off. $26k out the door is great! I put $11k down and a 620 credit score got me $34k. The car is good, but I feel bad.

I’m in the Seattle area, so prices are higher here.
Could have been worse, enjoy your car.
You’re okay, be happy with your nice car.
I paid about $25k out the door for my 2024 Corolla LE Hybrid this summer. If yours is the gas version, it should be a bit cheaper than the hybrid. Not bad, considering it’s reliable and holds its value well. Congrats on the new car! It’s a big upgrade from an old Civic.
@Dior
This comment makes me feel better about myself I might have made a financial mistake at 21, I need to learn from this.

Don’t worry, you got a good car for a reasonable price. You’re doing better than some who spend way more on cars they can’t afford.
@Dior
I can’t lie, you’re making good points.
Yikes
The average price for a 2024 LE is $24k.

Oof
Did they list an LE at $30k? I paid $27k for mine and I think I overpaid too. Hope they didn’t charge extra for the interest rate.
