Hey everyone, wanted to share what I did for my 50k service on my 4th Gen.
Oil change (every 5k miles)
Tire rotation (every 5k miles)
Radiator and Hybrid inverter coolant flush
Brake fluid change
Transmission fluid service
Rear diff service (since mine is AWD)
I thought about letting the dealer handle it since I’m getting tired of crawling under my car, but they wanted $300 just to drain and fill the rear diff… no thanks.
Did it myself and saved close to $2k in maintenance.
I also made a YouTube video on how to do the oil change, coolant, and transmission services if anyone wants to check it out. Not sure if linking is allowed, but here it is if it helps someone save money and get to know their vehicle better.

Radiator coolant, hybrid inverter coolant, transmission, and rear diff service:
This is great. I don’t even have a Sienna yet, but I always change my fluids way sooner than Toyota recommends. The service manager always questions why I do oil changes every 5k miles, and I just tell him I’m not taking chances. Got one more free one from them, then I’m doing it myself.

Why do all that at 50k? The manual says it’s not needed until 100k. But I’ll check out your videos and hopefully save some money on the coolant flush.
Because it’s cheap to do myself. Plus, I live in Las Vegas, and the heat really takes a toll on fluids.

Gotcha. I have a ‘22 LE with 96k miles. Used to work on cars, but not sure if I want to do it myself anymore, so I might just pay up. Love my Sienna, hope you love yours too.
Saw a ‘22 in the service bay with 270k miles—guy said he followed every service interval, and it still runs like new!

I’ve always seen the manual as the bare minimum. Cutting the intervals in half has never cost me much.
At the end of the day, I’m not here to argue about when things should be done. Just trying to help people keep their cars running longer. Do what works for you!
