i know this is a corolla forum but figured i’d share anyway. just got the stang tuned on e85 and it’s running like a beast now. might even boost the corolla later down the line lol. dropped about 8k on the engine build so i’m not too worried. attached a couple pics too if anyone’s curious.
e85 is cool and all but doesn’t it mess with engine oil? like you gotta change it way more often or it wears stuff out quicker?

yeah i’ve heard that too but this engine’s custom built and cost me a good 8k. not worried about wear tbh.

when they say it messes with oil, it’s cause e85 can mix with the oil and thin it out. so ppl usually cut oil change times in half just to be safe.

yeah for sure. i run top shelf synthetic—nothing cheap here. gotta protect that 8k investment lol

yeah amsoil signature series is one of the better ones folks recommend for this kinda setup

lol yeah might throw some boost on the corolla one day too so it’s all connected

bro it’s def noticeable. pulls harder, throttle feels more responsive. totally worth the switch imo

yeah had to upgrade fuel system a bit—bigger injectors, tune obviously. but not crazy stuff
