Picked up a 2025 TRD Off Road with a 2.5 inch suspension lift. Gonna run the stock tires through the summer then swap them out for something better before the snow hits again.
Instead of using up the stock tires, think about listing them on Facebook before they rack up miles. You could sell them almost new and put that money toward a better set.
I got rid of the stock Michelin Primacys that came with my sport after a few hundred miles—realized quick they weren’t good in snow.
@Justice
Yeah I thought about keeping them and using them during summer rotations, but your idea makes more sense. Might just do that.

Once you put on some solid all terrains, you won’t want to go back to anything else. They just look so much better. Something like the Falken Wildpeak 4 or KO3 in a slightly bigger size really sets the truck off.
I went with the Wildpeak 4 in standard load to help keep the gas mileage from dropping too much since I don’t go off-road.
@Justice
I’ve got the Falken Wildpeak AT3s on my older truck and I’m a big fan. Definitely going with the 4s on this one. Might go with 305s now that I have the lift.
@Justice
How do you make that work though? You gotta get new tires mounted before selling the old ones, right?

Yep, that’s how it works. Buy the new ones first, get them installed, then sell the old ones after. Don’t try to do it all at once.
Same for me. My Tacoma is the first time I ever got something new. Always went used or certified before.
That color looks awesome.

I actually wanted black at first, but this one was in stock and already had the suspension lift installed. Plus they took $4k off the price, so I went for it. Glad I did—I really like this color now.
@Kerry
Good call. I got black, but now I kinda wish I had this color too. Looks real sharp.
I wish mine came with the lift like that. Looks really solid.
Congrats on the bronze Taco—looks awesome.
Really nice looking truck. Hope you enjoy it a lot.
Same here. First time getting a brand new one. Feels pretty good, right?
Was the 2.5 inch lift something it came with? How’s it ride and what kind of MPG drop are you seeing?

It rides smooth, feels about what I expected with a lift. I’m getting around 18.5 mpg, but I live pretty high up and drive in the mountains. Took a 2.5 hour highway trip recently and got about 23 mpg.
That color is sharp. Wish we could get that one up here in Canada.

Wait—colors are limited by country? Didn’t realize that.

No Bronze Oxide in Canada? That’s the exact one I wanted for my ‘24 Sport. Took a while to find it, but I had to have it.
