I upgraded my 2024 V6 XSE with GR Corolla front calipers.
How easy was the upgrade? Are you using GR Corolla rotors too?

It was pretty simple, and I used rotors from the new Lexus IS500.
Oh nice! Did you just put them on or did you have to swap the rotors too?

You need everything from the GR Corolla: caliper brackets, calipers, shim kit, pads, and the rotors.
It’s about time someone did the GR Corolla BBK mod.
Total cost for the project was around $1082 (not including spacers):
- GR Corolla calipers: $200 each, so $505.49 for 2 (part numbers below):
- 47750-52400
- 47730-52350
- IS500 Lexus rotors (2022+ model) from rockauto.com: $75 each, total $165.01 with shipping (PN 304074028)
- GR Corolla brake pads from rockauto.com: $42 for the pair, but I ended up getting everything from Toyota for $146.55
- Front brake pad set: 04465-52370
- Fitting kit set: 04947-52080
- Shims: 04945-52210
- Custom brackets from 350phi: $279
I also needed a set of H&R 5mm wheel hub spacers, which cost about $120. The stock XSE wheels wouldn’t fit the caliper without them. It’s a straightforward job, the braking power is much better, and they look awesome.
