So I’m getting a new car and the dealership made me sign something weird… does this mean my car still has the standard warranty or not… like if there’s a factory issue can I still go to Toyota or is the dealership saying they won’t help… thanks for any advice
Nope no warranty at all

Wait so does that include the hybrid battery warranty too or just the general one…

But if something goes wrong who’s supposed to fix it then…

Most of the time it’s on you. The car is sold as-is so once you drive it off the lot it’s yours to deal with. Toyota might cover some rare cases but don’t count on it.

Nobody. You’re on your own. Not sure how lemon laws would work here if your car turns out to be a dud though.
The way this is worded is so weird… feels like the dealership just doesn’t wanna handle warranty repairs
Dealership has zero responsibility the second you take the car. Any warranty stuff goes straight to Toyota. My guess is they got tired of people coming back days or weeks later complaining so now they make everyone sign this to avoid headaches.
Hold up… the person who posted this said it’s a NEW car… why would they make you sign this for a new car…

Sometimes ‘new’ just means new to you not actually brand new
Sounds like they’re trying to pressure you into buying some overpriced extended warranty

They didn’t even offer me one though
Never ever buy a used car without having your own mechanic check it first. ‘As is’ means you’re stuck with whatever happens. If the engine blows up five minutes after you leave the lot that’s your problem not theirs.
@Bela
It’s not used though… it’s brand new… no idea why they made me sign this
‘As is’ usually means no warranty no guarantees nothing. If your area requires safety or emissions checks that’s on you too. If this is actually a brand new car and not just new to you I’d be really suspicious…
