Been looking into the 2025 Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. Both seem solid, but I’m stuck on which one to go for. Anyone else comparing these two? What do you think is better overall?
I’ve been looking at these too. The Camry is only hybrid now, right? Seems like Toyota’s really leaning into that.

Yep, all hybrids for the Camry. The Accord still gives you a choice though, a regular turbo 1.5-liter or a hybrid option.
@Mitchelle
Interesting… kinda cool to have options. How’s the fuel economy on both?
@Mitchelle
Camry’s hybrids are better on gas overall. The most efficient Camry Hybrid LE gets 51 mpg combined. Accord Hybrid is slightly behind at 48 mpg.
What about the trims? Does one have better features than the other?

Both have a range of trims, but the Accord seems a bit more streamlined. Lower trims on the Accord come with decent standard stuff like climate control and remote start. Camry offers more option packages though, which could be good if you want specific features.
@Mitchelle
Nice! So it’s more about what extras you want. Do the higher trims feel a lot different?
@Mitchelle
Yeah, the higher trims like the Accord Touring or Camry XSE definitely offer more luxury, think leather seats, better sound systems, stuff like that.
Anyone know which one has more space inside? I need decent rear legroom.

Accord’s got a bit more room, especially in the back seat. It’s a few extra inches of legroom compared to the Camry. Plus, the trunk’s bigger,17 cubic feet vs 15 in the Camry.
@Mitchelle
Good to know, thanks! I’m always hauling stuff around so that’s a big plus.
Price-wise, are they about the same? Trying to stay under $35k if possible.

They’re pretty close in price. The base Camry LE starts at $29,535, while the Accord LX is $29,390. Higher trims go up from there, so you’d be looking at the mid-trims to stay under your budget.
@Mitchelle
Thanks! Looks like they’re both in range. Guess it just comes down to what feels better to drive.
I heard the Camry now has an AWD option. Does that make it a better choice?

Yeah, Camry offers AWD for an extra $1,525 on all trims. It’s a good feature if you deal with a lot of bad weather. Accord doesn’t have that option though.
@Mitchelle
Could be handy, especially for winter driving. That’s definitely a point for Camry in my book.
