hey y’all, got a 2015 corolla and i’m tryna figure out how to reset the radio and nav system. also wondering if there’s a way to reset the whole car system or like an easy way to reset everything back to default. anyone done this before?
you mean like a full system reset or just the radio/nav part? i remember someone saying you can do a factory reset through the settings menu.

yeah pretty sure it’s under settings > general > factory reset or smth like that. it wipes all saved stuff though.

yup, everything… all paired phones, nav history, custom settings… gone. starts fresh.
if it’s just glitching or freezing up, try disconnecting the car battery for like 10-15 mins. kinda like a soft reset lol.

yep, it’s like rebooting a computer. works most times unless it’s a bigger issue.
i’ve got the same model. i think for just radio issues you can press and hold the power/volume knob for like 10 secs and it restarts.

no way… that’s like a hidden feature lol. does it reset everything or just reboot it?

just a reboot. doesn’t clear any settings or data. good for small bugs.
if you’re trying to reset things like eco mode or the avg fuel stats, that’s usually done from the dash controls near the steering wheel. not the same as a radio reset though.

yeah that confused me at first too… thought everything was reset from the same place

not that i’ve seen tbh… they’re kinda bundled together in the system. might be all or nothing.
