Toyota has a known issue with AC systems where water builds up, leading to mold. Especially if you use the recirculation feature.

Try blasting the AC for the last few minutes before you get where you’re going. Helps clear out the water buildup.

If you smell rotten eggs, that’s usually something else, maybe the catalytic converter.

I do it every other oil change. I run full synthetic and change every 5,000-6,000 miles.

Depends. I work in a really dusty area, so I check mine at least once a month.

Every 20k miles or two years. If you’re in a dusty place or park under trees, might want to do it yearly.

I barely change mine. For my 2007 Camry, it’s been like 2009, 2017, 2020, and today lol.

In the UK, the service schedule suggests every 40k miles or 4 years.

I swap them out once a year or around 10,000 miles. I buy the cheap ones from Walmart.

I never change my air filter, just blow it out with an air compressor. But I do change the cabin filter often because of my asthma.

My mechanic says if you can’t see light through it, time to change it.
