Hybrid Prices – How Much Are You All Paying?

Long story short, I’ve been looking at a Corolla Cross Hybrid. Maverick prices are too high, plus Ford’s had quite a few recalls recently, so I’m leaning towards Toyota.

Hybrid owners, how much did you pay for your 2024 or 2025 Corolla Cross Hybrid?

I can reasonably afford around $25k for a base model Hybrid Cross. Is this realistic?

Thanks for reading!

You won’t find a new CCH for $25k—the base model starts at $29k. Maybe look for a used 2023 Hybrid S with some miles on it? If $25k is your budget, you could probably get a new Corolla Hybrid LE sedan instead.

I got the 2024 Nightshade edition with all the extras for $32k.

2024 XSE in Wind Chill Pearl, with the convenience package, all-weather mats, mudguards, door guards, and roof rack—paid $36k.

2024 XSE in Célestine—paid $40k CAD. It is what it is.

I got the base model Hybrid S last month. Dealer initially had all these extras added, but I had them remove everything to bring it down to MSRP. Still ended up at $31k after all the hidden fees they don’t mention upfront. So yeah, $25k isn’t gonna cut it.

@Flann
I paid $34k for the base hybrid, but that was because I had negative equity on my trade-in. Otherwise, I’d have paid around $28k.

I bought a Corolla Cross last month, but I skipped the hybrid. The gas mileage savings didn’t justify the extra cost for me.

Not for $25k. You’re looking more at $30-32k.

Yeah, hybrid prices are getting crazy. When I was shopping, I realized that for what they’re charging, I might as well just go for a Venza or RAV4 Hybrid.

Got my 2024 SE Hybrid about a year ago for $32.5k OTD. It came with the activity mount, roof rack cross bars, all-weather mats, and cargo cover. Haven’t seen any hybrids in the $25k range. If you don’t need AWD, you might want to consider a Corolla Hybrid instead.
