Is the 2025 LC 70 ever coming to the US… and what’s the deal with Montana plates?

I saw this being sold in Japan and it looks amazing. I really like the old-school design. Do you think it might ever make its way to the US?

Yeah, maybe in 25 years.

Why can’t California get it? Emissions?

@Oswin
Just register it with Montana LLC plates. Problem solved.

What’s so special about Montana plates?

@GuyBolding
Wow, that looks awesome. Really want one now.

This looks so good. I need it.

I’d pay double to have this in Texas.

The FJ Company in Florida can make a version that’s legal in the US, but it’ll cost you a bit.

‘A bit’ is an understatement. Think ‘a lot’ of money :rofl:

How much are we talking? 125k?

@Nova
I saw prices closer to 250k on their website.

Checked out their site for the first time. Closed it real fast after seeing those prices. You don’t need that much for a full restoration in my opinion.

@Mikel
Maybe someone can figure out a cheaper way to build these. Sounds like a business idea.

You could import these legally and restore them for a fifth of the cost. Just my take.

@Mikel
FJ Company swaps a new LC70 onto an old chassis. Maybe someone could source new parts for less. ICON in California does similar work, I think.
