This also happens in the Netherlands. They target C-HR specifically because the battery is small enough to carry, and it’s a popular model.
They tried with my car too, and also around the corner and in nearby towns.
Funny you mention the Isofix, that saved my car. They broke my child’s car seat trying to force it, so I only ended up with a broken window.
I installed cameras since then, hoping they’ll scare them off next time.

Can a hybrid owner remove the hybrid badge and switch the Toyota logo to the non-blue one to make it look like a non-hybrid? So maybe thieves won’t bother?

Non-hybrid C-HRs are pretty rare around here.
